From the track field to the orchestra room, Clarisse Pierre is a double threat. Clarisse plays the viola for orchestra runs and jumps for track. And if you haven't known yet Clarisse is the twin sister of Dorisse Pierre.
Clarisse will be majoring in Pre-Med majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology. Becoming a doctor is a major life goal for Clarisse. Her father is a pediatric intensivist, his job motivates her to follow in his footsteps “I want to have the skills and knowledge where I can apply them in a way that may save the lives of children.”
One thing Clarisse has learned from high school is “that even though things may go completely wrong, I know there is always a brighter side of every situation. Sometimes there are situations where I may not like how everything turned out, but at the end of the day, I know that I can grow and learn to appreciate the little things.”
Clarisse talks about being a twin ”As a twin, it is understandable for people to confuse me with my sister, but at EC I want to be remembered not only as “the twin,” but as myself, as Clarisse Pierre.”
