Francesca Boru will be attending Felician University and majoring in nursing. She chose nursing because she adores working and helping others. She believes that God has given her a gift of helping out others.
Francesca is a very hardworking and determined person who strives for excellence. “I am an example of what anyone can overcome. In the beginning of freshman year, I did not put my best foot forward until the beginning of junior year and now I am achieving high honors, which I’m proud of. The thing I’m most thankful for about high school is the lessons I’ve learned. High school is just a short period of time in your life and when you go out in the real world, you will come upon many obstacles that you will have to overcome and not run away from. So I would say high school has definitely shaped me into somebody I’m proud of today," says Francesca.
I want to be remembered as somebody who inspires others, who is always there when you need, and a leader.
Francesca jokes that she wants to be remembered as “the nurse's pet and the principal's pet... just kidding! I don’t want to be remembered by the whole student body. However I do want to be remembered only by the people I have made an impact on. I want to be remembered as somebody who inspires others, who is always there when you need, and a leader.”
