Time for EC Lacrosse To Wait

There was a lot of excitement forming around the lacrosse team this season, but because of the current COVID-19 pandemic it looks like we will have to wait until next year to see what the team can do. This is very unfortunate as the players on the team will lose a year of experience and senior Matt Cook, a cornerstone of the team,

will likely not get to play in his last year of high school. Both Stephen Frank and Max Miller are not optimistic about there being a return this year. Max said, “I don’t think the season will resume even though we all want it to.” Even though there will likely not be a season this year this had not stopped the team from practicing at home, Stephen gave some insight into how the team is practicing from home when he said, “We have been talking to each other through a group chat to talk to each other and push for us to get better, even though we can’t practice together.” Even through the setbacks EC has a lot to be looking forward to next season.
